Accessibility

We want The Honest Donkey to be usable by everyone, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing commitment rather than a one-off task. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA across the core journey.

What we do

Semantic HTML and landmarks, keyboard-operable controls with visible focus states, colour contrast checked against WCAG AA, respect for reduced-motion preferences, and text alternatives for meaningful imagery.

Typed answers always available

Voice and camera answers are entirely optional. Typing is always available, and choosing not to use a microphone or camera never affects your scores or verdict in any way.

Known limitations

Some complex comparison tables scroll horizontally on small screens, and a formal third-party audit is still in progress. We are actively improving these.

Tell us if something isn't working

If any part of the site is difficult to use with assistive technology, please contact us via the contact page and we will prioritise a fix.

The Honest Donkey provides research and decision support, not financial, legal or professional advice. All opportunities require independent validation. Last updated 2026.
